Fingal Chamber Choir

Fingal Chamber Choir was founded in September 2006 by its conductor, David Maxwell. Members were recruited by advertising in the 3 local newspapers in the Fingal area. Criteria for membership are an ability to sight read music to a reasonable standard and some previous choral experience or vocal training. The choir has given many highly acclaimed performances such as Faure's Requiem, Vivaldi's Gloria, Haydn's Litle Organ Mass with soloists Anna Devin, Jamie Rock, Constance Gardiner, Tara Erraught and Susan Ward. The repetoire of the choir is mainly sacred music, but not always ! ! !
